ABSTRACT

This research paper delves into the complex interplay between peacekeeping operations and violations of trust in Africa within the context of international humanitarian and refugee law. The paper critically analyzes the challenges faced by peacekeeping forces in maintaining trust with local populations while upholding their mandates. Through a multidimensional approach, this study examines the causes, consequences, and potential solutions for breaches of trust in peacekeeping missions in Africa.
